Continuing the Journey

A Long Few Months

The last few months in Kenya have been rather stressful. At first we weren't certain if we would even be able to remain here. The country looked like it could fall apart. Gradually, things have gotten better but we still await all of the agreements to be put into place. Tension has returned as the political parties haggle over cabinet positions.

During the crisis Cindy was very busy making arrangements for EMM leaders who visited the country. Mike wrote a few emails to keep friends and family informed about the situation here. These updates soon became a bigger deal than he was anticipating and much more time-consuming than he desired to keep on top of all the events.

We hope to update the blog with some photos in the near future. Our internet connection has become rather slow, and it makes it difficult to post photos.
