Update on Jordan

Jordan has begun guitar lessons at school. After the second lesson (He had lessons for a year while we were in the USA.) Jordan's teacher sent us a note telling us that Jordan was very talented, and asking us if we were willing to help Jordan record some of his music.
Jordan also won an award as the Most Valuable Player of the Rosslyn junior varsity soccer team.
Needless to say we are very proud of Jordan.
Rossyln Academy had a Cultural Fair in which students represented different cultures around the world. Jordan and his friends decided to represent Mexico. They played Mexican-style music on their guitars and dressed somewhat 'Mexican'. Jordan was able to add some real authenticity as we borrowed a Mariachi hat from our classmate, Raphael, who is a Mexican priest working in Kenya.
People have told us that Jordan and his friends were the hit of the Cultural Fair. People followed them around to listen to the songs they were playing. They played "La Bamba" and "Feliz Navidad" as well as some 'Mexican-sounding' songs that Jordan wrote for the occasion.
